What services do DS Biomedical provide?

We provide a range of repair services in addition to rigid and flexible endoscope repairs, including specialised and
general instrument repairs, and power tool, surgical camera, phaco handpiece and dental equipment repairs. We have a wide skill set and no job is too big or small. We also market our ‘‘dsb’’ branded rigid endoscopes and light cables, and we distribute and service the exemplary Wassenburg Medical reprocessing products.

What are the warranty periods on your repairs?

The warranty period on our parts and workmanship differs across various services. Rigid endoscopes have a 2 year
warranty period on parts and workmanship, Flexible endoscopes, Surgical cameras and Power tools servicing havea 6
month warranty.

Can urgent repairs be given priority?

We will always prioritise urgent jobs. Please speak with us if you require equipment for a certain date, so we can schedule and ensure you are provided an accurate ETA.

Do you charge if we don’t proceed with a quotation?

All dsb quotations come with no obligation, so if you decide not to proceed with the work there will be no charge.

What about turnaround?

DS Biomedical have the manpower and facilities to process your equipment without delay. Quotations are typically
emailed within 2 days of receiving item, and work will commence upon Purchase Order. Our secure overnight* courier
service tracks deliveries and ensures prompt return of your equipment.
(* 1.5 – 2 days to some regional destinations.)

How much will freight cost?

Standard rigid endoscope servicing rates include freight free-into-store. Nominal freight for other items is included in
your quotation – no surprises!

Is DS Biomedical ISO accredited? 

Yes, we proudly maintain ISO 9001 for the sales, service and repair of surgical/medical equipment.
